Salary:

PML is a growing organisation providing valued health services to diverse local communities in Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire. The company is owned and run by GP shareholders who steer the organisation and make decisions about which services the organisation should provide for local patients.

We believe that local care providers, who know and understand the health needs of their own patients, and who are used to working collaboratively in their region, can provide the best quality and most cost effective integrated primary care services. We work to develop services we know people want and need so that patients get the best care options for their circumstances.

After over a decade in business, we have a proven track record of success in delivering a diverse range of services and we are continually looking to bid for new contract opportunities and to recruit motivated and ambitious staff to join us.

Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Emergency Care Practitioner

We are now recruiting a number of ANPs and ECPs to support patient healthcare being delivered through a multi-professional team model approach, with a provision in both primary care and community settings. The focus of the role is the provision of primary care services, on-site in a Practice surgery and possibly through visiting patients at home; with opportunities for further development of the role.

You will be an experienced self-directed practitioner, providing high quality and timely patient-centred care. You will be able to demonstrate responsibility for the delivery of evidence-based clinical care and nursing services, within your role’s scope of practice. As an ANP or ECP, you will also be expected to demonstrate advanced clinical competence and a knowledge base beyond those associated with conventional nursing roles e.g. prescriber, minor illnesses, etc.

Banbury Cross Health Centre is a new Primary Care Practice being formed through the phased integration of several local GP surgeries to ensure future sustainability and adopt good practice in delivering patients services. All practices involved have been rated good by the CQC. A larger facility for patient services is also providing us the opportunity to expand our research capabilities with the aim of becoming a centre for training and research excellence.
