We are seeking to recruit a Senior Clinical Psychologist to support the ongoing development and delivery of CAMHS in-reach to Sheffield schools. The post is a leadership role providing support to the Healthy Minds team. The person appointed will work with the Healthy Minds lead and schools across Sheffield to support the mental health needs of the whole school community.

Key tasks will include: clinical supervision to Healthy Minds staff, citywide strategic developments, providing expert advice to local schools on mental health issues for the whole school community,development and delivery of bespoke Healthy Minds training to students, parents and staff, service evaluation, reflective practice to school staff, preparation of reports, working with student Healthy Minds champions, delivery and analysis of a whole school Healthy Minds surveys and supporting the development of school based action plans, school based interventions and PSHE materials.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within an innovative project focused on early intervention and prevention and school-based trauma informed care within child and adolescent mental health services. We are looking for a candidate with experience in working within child and adolescent mental health services, multi-agency working, excellent teaching and clinical supervision skills and preferably some experience of working with schools.

Well established support and supervision will be provided, and further professional development is actively encouraged and supported. The post will provide a wide range of experience and allow the candidate to further develop transferable skills.

Professionally you will join a well-established and innovative CAMHS service which provides regional and national specialist services through direct patient care, consultation and supervision. You will be supported by a substantial professional group including over 40 clinical child psychologists, systemic family therapists and child psychotherapists working within the hospital and community context.

In line with other NHS Organisations in the Yorkshire and Humber Region a successful candidate appointed into a post within this Trust will be required to pay the DBS check fee (£49). This is customarily payable over 4 months as a salary deduction once employed by the Trust. If you receive a conditional offer letter, complete your DBS application and later withdraw from the recruitment process, an invoice will be raised via the Trust's finance department to recoup the outlay.
