IT Administrator / Tech & Maintenance Support

Permanent: 20 hours  & overtime

A busy GP surgery is seeking an enthusiastic IT Administrator / Tech & Maintenance Support  person to join our friendly team in Wimborne, Dorset. The role will involve a wide range of IT, administrative and maintenance duties to assist the practice team, including IT system work, general business administration, maintenance and hardware support. The Surgery has recently been rated as ‘Good’ by CQC and has high levels of patient satisfaction.  If you would like a varied job role within a GP surgery, then this is the opportunity is for you!

 Hours of work: 20 hours  - negotiable but to include Tuesdays 1200-1400 (& occasional overtime)

Benefits include: Free parking, opportunity to flex hours, NHS pension, occasional overtime

Salary range: £8.37 per hour

Desired qualifications:

  • Preferable GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English grades A – C


    Desired skills and qualities:

  • Excellent IT skills including Word and Excel

  • Good IT hardware skills eg solving computer/printer problems

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • Experience of basic building maintenance /practical skills desirable

  • Presentable

  • Punctual and reliable
