If so, Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust is the place for you! We have vacancies for Paediatric Junior Sisters within our Emergency Department.

This is a great time to join our team and make a difference.

We are looking for enthusiastic Band 6 Children’s nurses with a passion for child centred care to join our friendly team in ED. The applicant should have excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast-moving environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe and effective care to our service users and safe discharge of patients. You will also get experience in team management.

We have a dedicated Paediatric Emergency Department and we are in the process of developing a dedicated Children’s Urgent Treatment Centre. The Children’s Emergency Department sees children with presenting with both urgent care and emergency care concerns.

Our ED Senior Sister and ED Matron will support and encourage you to develop both clinically and managerially and offer a comprehensive induction programme, teaching sessions and in-house training. We are about to develop a new educational program for our children’s nursing teams lead by our dedicated Children’s Advanced Nurse Practitioner.

Applicant must be flexible in shift working pattern to include weekday, night and weekend.
