ERU Lead Nurse | Extended Recovery Unit/Surgical Ward | Band equivalent | Pentwyn | Cardiff

Duties and responsibilities:

To lead in the delivery of ERU & Ward services within Spire Cardiff Hospital and to facilitate others to provide exemplary planned care for all surgical patients through the provision of theoretical and practical general surgery education at ward level.

As well as improving the ERU service and implementing standards and ensuring competencies are up to date you will be required to provide hands on nursing care in ERU and the general surgical ward.

Who we're looking for:

  • Be NMC registered - your pin should not have any restrictions or conditions
  • Have a minimum of 2 yearspost-graduation, Hospital experience.
  • Have been employed in surgical or acute settings.
  • Critical care/HDU or ITU experience is essential
