We are currently recruiting soon to be graduating and newly qualified Paramedics – Full Time/Part Time - Shift 24/7.

Please be aware that all applicants MUST have studied or currently be studying a Paramedic Course.

Agenda for Change – Band 5 -£24,214-£30,112 per annum (as of Apr 19 AFC salary scale) - plus a percentage of unsocial hours payment dependent on rota and hours worked in line with Section 2 of Agenda for Change Terms and Conditions of Service Handbook.

Geographical locations are available predominantly in the South of our service area with the majority of vacancies operating on single crewed Rapid Response Vehicles or relief rota lines.

We are looking for candidates that are recently qualified and pending HCPC registration. If applying from overseas we expect you to have similar, suitable qualifications, experience and be willing to obtain HCPC registration prior to joining. You must also be able to demonstrate evidence of continuing personal and professional development through your application and at assessment stage. Please note obtaining HCPC registration is a condition of employment.

It is essential for you to possess a full current driving licence, valid in the UK and essential for it to cover category C1 vehicles prior to your start date. Overseas applicants will need a full driving license from the country you will be relocating from. Please note you will need to be able to convert your license to a UK license and obtain C1 independently.

We expect that all applicants have no more than three penalty points on your driving license or equivalent if you are an overseas applicant.

You will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to demonstrate effective social skills gained from experience with dealing with the public. Blue light driver training is desirable.

You will be joining our team of more than 2,000 staff, who respond to over 360,000 emergency and urgent incidents a year from 60 stations spread across 3,200 miles.
