Liverpool Women’s Hospital clinical services are currently being reviewed by NHS Liverpool Clinical Commissioning Group, following work done by our clinicians in presenting a powerful case for change in the Future Generations Strategy.

An exciting job opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Specialist Nurse Colposcopist or Trainee Nurse Colposcopist to join our already established team within the Gynaecology Outpatients Department within Liverpool Women's NHS Trust. The service is based at both the Crown Street site and Aintree Hospital site.

The unit facilitates gynaecology outpatient services including Colposcopist, hysteroscopy, urogynaecology, gynae-oncology, and general gynaecology,

The gynaecology department is also research active.

The successful candidate will become part of a well-established multidisciplinary team working in a supportive environment where the delivery of high quality compassionate care is our prime focus.

The Specialist Nurse Colposcopist will be expected to manage their own caseload independently as well as being part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, participate in service development, audit and research and training.

The trainee Nurse Colposcopist will be fully supported to obtain accreditation through the BSCCP training programme to become an independent Nurse Colposcopist.

A comprehensive induction programme is available as well as continued clinical leadership, practice and professional development from the senior medical and management team.
