Recruitment Assistant

We are looking to recruit a Recruitment Assistant to support our Recruitment Team in administering our end-to-end recruitment process for all staff joining the Trust, from Doctors to Nurses to Accountants to Cleaners. We are keen to ensure that all new starters have a smooth transition into the Trust and are compliant with NHS Employers standards. We process multiple offers and are an extremely busy department so there is no chance of being bored!

Working within the recruitment office, you would be the first point of contact for visitors and dealing with enquiries by phone, email and face-to-face. You will need to be able to use your initiative as well as being able to multi task and work to tight deadlines. The bulk of your work will be to support the wider recruitment team; from issuing offer letters, processing pre-employment checks, drafting employment contracts and entering information onto our recruitment systems. Based in the HR Department, professionalism, integrity and discretion are key to this role.

This is a demanding role with a high volume of work coming through and tight deadlines to meet. You must be able to work at pace and find solutions to challenges in a pressurised environment.
