Trusts & Foundations Fundraiser

Job Reference: J172-240619

Isabel Hospice
Fundraising & Marketing
Welwyn Garden City
Circa £25,000

We are recruiting for a Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser to join our small but very effective Philanthropy and Partnerships team.

Isabel Hospice is an award winning charity based Eastern Hertfordshire which is extremely well regarded in the local area (winning Hertfordshire’s Inspiring Excellence in Customer Commitment Award 2019, Business of the Year 2018, and the Community Champion of the Year 2018).

This is an incredibly rewarding role which offers opportunities to work closely with senior stakeholders and clinical colleagues who are delivering outstanding palliative care in the community for people living with life limiting illnesses and their families. This is also an exciting time to join Isabel Hospice as growth in our services means we are currently supporting more people than ever before.

You will be required to steward existing trusts, as well as researching and cultivating new supporters with an emphasis on fundraising from larger trusts and securing multi-year gifts.

To achieve success in this role and help Isabel reach its ambitious growth targets, you will need to build upon the established pipeline of charitable trusts and foundations, initiating and building relationships and preparing high-quality funding bids.

The ideal candidate will be a positive and creative individual who embraces challenges, a diverse workload and is able to represent the charity at a high level. With success in cultivating new relationships, as well as managing existing donors, the post holder will also be a self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

In return for previous trusts and foundations experience working with applications of £10k+ we offer an excellent working environment, supportive team and excellent benefits including 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays and flexible working options.

To apply, please complete the application pack.

Closing date for applications: Friday 26th July 2019
