We are a designated a Level 1 Trauma Centre and host of the UK’s only £20m National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Surgical Reconstruction and Microbiology Research Centre (SRMRC).

This role is based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Supporting in the region of 27,000 service users, the UHB IT Service Centre / Service Desk provides single point of contact and support for all internal and external IM&T Incidents, Requests and enquiries.

We are currently seeking to fill an exciting vacancy and opportunity for a Junior IT Service Desk Analyst to work within our busy Service Centre team. Funded foor a 12 month fixed term/secondment.

The primary focus of the role will be providing high quality, responsive, customer focussed, 1st and 2nd line IT Service and Support to Trust users and stakeholders.

Successful candidates will need to demonstrate a general level of IT Service Desk / Service Centre knowledge and experience. You will be a keen team player with a conscientious, outgoing personality and ability to communicate well at all levels. Equally important will be evidence of commitment, drive and enthusiasm to delivering high levels of customer satisfaction within a “Service Excellence” driven culture.
