We are seeking highly motivated band 5 nurses with experience to join our Oncology inpatient ward team at UCLH.

At UCLH we provide highly specialised cancer care for oncology patients with a wide range of solid tumours, we are one of two cancer centres in London offering specialised care to sarcoma patients.

What we do:

Our inpatient unit includes 2 oncology wards with a total of 42 beds, which provide a variety of treatments including:

• Cytotoxic chemotherapy
• Trial treatments
• Biological therapies
• Radiotherapy
• Brachytherapy
• Radioisotope treatments
• Palliative care including complex symptom management end of life care

What we look for in our nurses:

You will need to have a minimum of 6 months post registration experience within an acute healthcare setting. Oncology or Haematology experience is desirable, but not essential as successful candidates will receive local orientation and ongoing speciality training and support.
