We are delighted to be able to offer a new opportunity for a Specialist Physiotherapy rotation across three service areas within the community setting at Exmouth Hospital.

This is an ideal opportunity for acute therapists to further develop their knowledge of community service or as a development role for an experienced Band 5 Physiotherapist

Applications will be accepted for either 0.8wte or full time hours.

In order to develop a more rounded workforce and a better understanding of the patient pathway within the community setting, we are offering 9 monthly rotations across Community Rehabilitation (This may be 18 months due to caseloads), Intermediate Care ward (Community Hospital) and Urgent Community Response

You will be passionate about working with the older population with complex health and social care needs and confident in working in a fast paced multi-disciplinary, integrated team to deliver high quality care. You will have core experience, skills & knowledge ideally in neurological rehabilitation, long term conditions, falls prevention, musculoskeletal / orthopedics

You will provide a supervisory role to staff as well as students and will need to be proactive in personal development. You will demonstrate leadership ability to work with the wider team to help manage change, and have a creative and innovative approach to support continual service improvement

To support you, we offer structured 1:1 supervision with a Band 7 Physiotherapist along with Operational Management from a Band 7 Service Manager. We support dedicated CPD time, in-service training and other career development opportunities including post graduate courses in line with your personal development plan.
