We’re looking to recruit 3 System Support Engineers to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and seasoned Desktop Support Engineer, someone who can demonstrate their experience and achievements within this field. Regardless of experience you’ll need to be outgoing and a team player with bags of drive and enthusiasm; someone who understands the value of providing outstanding customer service and is able to effectively balance the need for improved Desktop Services with the operational needs of a large, busy hospital. Able to work proactively under pressure and deliver against individual and team Key Performance Indicators.

As a System Support Engineer you will be a designated specialist regarding desktop technical support. Providing excellent customer service while taking ownership of incidents.

This exciting opportunity necessitates the following technical abilities:

- A high level of IT Literacy with Microsoft products - specifically Windows 7, Windows 10, SCCM, MS Office, O365 and Active Directory.

- The ability to troubleshoot PC, Operating System and application related problems through to resolution.

- Knowledge of Support Packages including Service Management tools (Supportworks) and Remote Access tools such as VNC or RDP.

- Experienced gained from within and ITIL environment would also be advantageous.

While the role is based at the main hospital site you will be expected to travel to the Trust’s other sites when required for work purposes, for which transport will be provided, so a full driving license is essential.

Full time: 37.5 hours per week
