Thank you for your interest in the role of Consultant Paediatrician.

This is a newly created 0.8 WTE position to join an existing clinical team of 7 Consultants and 1 Associate Specialist to provide a range of Child health Services within a fully integrated organisation.

The Paediatric Department consists of:

  • Children's Outpatient Clinic
  • Day Services Centre
  • 22 bedded ward with 8 potential beds for adolescent and young adult patients
  • 8 cot Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) – Located in the Maternity Unit

The department has developed strong links with tertiary centres of Bristol and Southampton and a number of sub-specialist clinics held at Yeovil District Hospital take place on a regular basis,
