Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust manages Leighton Hospital in Crewe, Victoria Infirmary in Northwich and Elmhurst Intermediate Care Centre in Winsford. We are the Lead Employer for Central Cheshire Integrated Care Partnership (CCICP) which aims to transform, develop and deliver health care services in the community.

Following an NHSI initiative to establish 29 Pathology networks across England the University Hospital of North Midlands is currently working closely with Mid and East Cheshire NHS Trusts to establish a Pathology network across Staffordshire and Cheshire.

Our ‘hot off the press’ new Shift Coordinator roles in our Emergency Department are exactly that. Developed as part of an innovative re-think of how we provide front of house services, the role cuts across all areas of ED, coordinating people and care to make sure the patient comes out on top. These transformative posts are integral to making big changes in how we provide Emergency and Acute care and we’re very excited about them.

You’ll need to be a super-organised Registered Nurse who can bring new perspectives to our existing team, so personal vision and sound leadership skills are an essential. You should have a thoughtful approach to work and be skilled in dealing with external agencies and other stakeholders, utilising your experience to achieve shared successes both at the Trust and across the Health and Social Care landscape. You’ll need to be able to demonstrate previous management experience and experience in ED and Acute care. The role will require shift working.
