Bank - MyCare IT Test Bay Engineer x 2 WTE Posts

Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust is now engaged on an extensive clinical transformation programme (MyCare) which is enabled by the implementation of an integrated, comprehensive electronic patient record system, namely, Epic.

We are looking to recruit a team of helpful, friendly and motivated IT end user device engineers to support our innovative hardware refresh programme to enable the implementation of our Epic EPR. This will predominantly involve the build and deployment of desktops, laptops, Workstations on Wheels, iPads and iPhones, large ward displays and touch screens but may also include support for our Windows 10 roll out, investigation and resolution of IT support requests and faults pertaining to desktop IT equipment and software.

This is a Bank position until 31st August 2020

The Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trusts provides a wide range of acute, community and emergency health services. My Care will be transforming the way in which we collect and access information about patients and our clinical and admin staff will rely on our digital systems to help support their treatment of patients.

You will be confident in your IT skills, be able to demonstrate experience in an IT support services environment and you should have a good understanding of Information Security. The post holder will be an integral part of a customer focused department that thrives on team work, trust and a can-do attitude.

The post will be based at the Heavitree site but will be expected to travel to and work at all Royal Devon and Exeter sites. The working hours will be flexible to suit the needs of the MY CARE programme.
