Staff Nurse - Acute Medicine & Hospice Rotation

£25,425 - £31,618 per annum inclusive of HCAS

This is an exciting initiative between Wexham Park Hospital and Thames Hospice for a rotational 6 monthly post between care settings, building up experience and knowledge within Acute Medicine in Wexham Park Hospital and palliative and end of life care within the Thames Hospice in Windsor.

Training and support will be available to the post holder as well as mentorship in both locations from a senior nurse. We are recruiting rotational posts with opportunities for personal and professional development.

The successful candidates will have good interpersonal skills, be motivated to learn, and be passionate about making a difference

Working within our values, Thames Hospice provides supportive and end of life care for people affected by cancer or other serious progressive illness. Based on our in-patient unit, the successful candidate will be able to broaden their nursing experience and enhance their skills. With increasing complexity of patients’ conditions, you may also find the nursing environment here much more challenging, and therefore rewarding, than you may have thought.
