This role is ringfenced, and applicable to colleagues who are currently working within one of the Lancashire and South Cumbria integrated care system partner health organisations, including CCGs, Trusts, NHS England and Midlands and Lancashire CSU. This post will work as part of the Healthier Lancashire & South Cumbria Integrated Care System and will be offered on a secondment basis for 12 months. Healthier Lancashire and South Cumbria (HLSC) is the partnership of NHS, Local Authority, Public Sector and voluntary and community organisations working together to improve outcomes for and the care of everyone living in Lancashire and South Cumbria (L&SC).

We are at an exciting point in our journey, building on the Healthier Lancashire and South Cumbria change programme to develop and establish our integrated care system (ICS). HLSC partners are collaborating to lead, support and facilitate a work programme which will efficiently transform health and care services in a way which improves the lives of people in the area and delivers a better experience for patients.

The Business Support Officer post holder will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective service supporting managers and staff across the Lancashire & South Cumbria team.

In particular the post holder will provide and coordinate administrative and secretarial services; including for example, the preparation of agendas and minutes, taking appropriate follow-up action as required. Supporting the team with the management of projects, gathering information and undertaking enquiries as and when is necessary for the head of department, teams and the department.

The postholder will be based in the ICS Corporate Office at Preston Business Centre. The role will primarily involve supporting the ICS Clinical Pharmacy and Medicines Optimisation Leads and Clinical Leads for Allied Health Professionals, as well as providing support to the ICS corporate office and its clinical and enabling functions as appropriate.
