We are seeking to appoint fourteen whole time equivalent Repeat Prescription Coordinators to work in our Prescription Ordering Direct Team (POD).  There will be a mix of full time and part time positions. The POD team process calls from patients requesting their repeat medicines over the phone. The team started in April 2018 and is currently working with eight practices to offer this service. The POD has been very successful so far and will be working with more of our practices over the coming months to rapidly expand this service. You will ideally have experience of working within a GP practice or pharmacy and understand the process of ordering repeat prescriptions. You will also have experience in providing excellent customer service, have an eye for detail and be keen to reduce medication waste and improve patient safety. The POD team are part of the existing CCG Medicines Optimisation Team.
