CBACSS Part- Time Band Nurse 2 days per week

CBACSS is a multi-disciplinary team of Psychologists, Mental Health Nurses, Psychiatrists, Occupational Therapists and Support Workers. The team is passionate about person centred dementia care and are proud to hold significant expertise in this area.

The team operates from 09:00hrs-17.00hrs Monday-Friday but aims to be flexible regarding working outside of these hours if necessary. The team works with people in their own homes and other community sites – e.g. day centres.

CBACSS currently provides a service to all GPs in Wandsworth.

We are looking for a motivated and inspiring nurse, to join our high performing team serving the local community of Wandsworth. This is a part-time post 2 days per week. The ideal candidate will have a sound clinical background, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work independently, have a positive “can do” attitude, and be able to use their own initiative. Current experience of working clinically with patients who have dementia is vital.

CBACSS is part of the Cognition and Mental Health in Ageing Service line in South West London and St George’s MH Trust. The service works closely with other teams in the service line such as the Wandsworth Memory Assessment Service, Wandsworth Recovery and Support Service, The Behaviour and Communication Support Service and the Dementia Clinical Nurse Specialist Service
