The Supply Chain Department is expanding and weare looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated Inventory Coordinators to join the team. This role is to enhance the level of service delivered to the interventional areas of Kings College Hospital we support with aswell as drive improvements throughout the supply chain.

You will be responsible for ensuring that Wards/Clinical Departments have a continuous supply of goods in line with the Trust’s Material Management system. The role requires scheduled visits to the departments, undertaking stock inventory using Automatic Data Capture and other Materials Control systems. This will include investigating discrepancies, problem solving, contacting suppliers and conveying information to Ward Managers.

You will have a strong understanding of stock control, inventory managementand/or product replenishment. You should be able to demonstrate good customer service practices and possess the ability to work on their own initiative. Excellent communication skills are paramount as is the ability to work unsupervised as well as part of a team. This position is not office based and therefore applicants should be physically fit. A goodstandard of general education and numerical competency is a must. Computer literacy is essential.

The successful will be required to undertake an Occupational Health Clearance to assess their ability to be able to transport and lift medium to heavy objects, unpack goods and stock shelves.
