We are one of the largest and busiest acute Trusts in the North West of England, comprising of the Wirral’s only Emergency Department. We provide a high quality range of acute care services and employ over 6,000 staff, who serve a population of approximately 400,000 people across Wirral, Ellesmere Port, Neston, North Wales and the wider North West footprint.

We have approximately 855 beds trust-wide and our financial turnover is in excess of £337m.

We are seeking to appoint a Director of Strategy & Partnerships who will lead on the development of the Trust’s strategy whilst working with our partners to transform the way services are provided to the communities we serve. The clear articulation of our strategy and then ensuring that it is fit for the future will be the key measure of success in this challenging role.

As an influencer you are able to build relationships quickly across all levels of our teams as well as our partners, whilst being able to articulate our strategy in a way which is accessible to differing audiences. You will be passionate about driving service and cultural improvement whilst continually moving our strategic agenda forward. Your analytical and fact based approach to services will help us develop and implement our goals whilst making sure you take people with you on the journey which is required.

You will be a Trust Board director and will part of a dynamic executive team who are focused on delivering high quality care and creating the organisation as a great place to work.
