LEIGHTON HOSPITAL

LED ST1/2 in Emergency Medicine

Applications are invited for an LED ST1/2 in Emergency Medicine at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be based at Leighton Hospital in Crewe.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual who wishes to develop their knowledge and skills and gain valuable experience in an Emergency Department.

This 4 month full-time post is due to a rotational vacancy and would be suitable for a doctor who has previous UK experience, and has completed as a minimum foundation training or a similar level post.

The doctor will work on the junior doctor rota of the Emergency Department, with the 24/7 supervision of experienced middle grade doctors and a highly motivated and supportive Consultant Team.

Consideration would be given to the successful applicant to attend local junior teaching sessions with a view to this allowing progression to their next career move.

The Trust is supportive of career progression and would be willing to discuss future roles and development for anyone wishing to pursue a career in ED. There may also be an option for a rotation with other specialties, should this be of interest and a suitable post being available.

Full GMC registration and LTP will be required for this post.
