Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust manages Leighton Hospital in Crewe, Victoria Infirmary in Northwich and Elmhurst Intermediate Care Centre in Winsford. We are the Lead Employer for Central Cheshire Integrated Care Partnership (CCICP) which aims to transform, develop and deliver health care services in the community.

Our clinical facilities are excellent, as we have invested in state of the art theatres, Critical Care, Emergency Department and our Childrens Wards (to name but a few). We have also invested in our people, ensuring we have the right number of the right people delivering care, fostering a culture of compassion, support and excellence.

Following an NHSI initiative to establish 29 Pathology networks across England the University Hospital of North Midlands is currently working closely with Mid and East Cheshire NHS Trusts to establish a Pathology network across Staffordshire and Cheshire.


We are looking for an experienced Band 3 HCA to cover 5 days /mornings a week with our Nantwich & Rural Community Nursing team.

The role will include ;wound care , catheter maintenance and education , venepuncture, supporting staff in clinic settings (such as leg ulcer and catheter clinic), performing joint visits with other team members and performing clinical observations.

You must be passionate about making a difference to people’s lives.

You will need to possess good time management and organisational skills and be expected to be innovative and flexible to work in other areas - if required - to meet service need.

To join our dedicated, caring team, you will need excellent communication skills and emotional strength. We will expect you to have a talent for forging strong empathetic relationships with a variety of people. We will of course provide excellent on-going training and support.

You will be adaptable, reliable and approachable, and will be expected to support your peers, the team leader and the organisation in promoting the Trusts Values and Behaviours.
