The role of the MDT Co-ordinator is to support the workload of ILD Team within the Thoracic Directorate. The successful post holder will spend a proportion of their time ensuring that all patient referrals into the ILD MDT services are recorded, tracked and monitored through the MDT pathway. To manage the process, content and output of the MDT meetings utilising guidelines created and agreed by the specialities to locally and nationally agreed standards. Monitor and maintain the databases supporting patient information in the specialities, take responsibility for ensuring the quality of information recorded. Provide administrative support to the ILD team

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our team. You’ll have excellent communication and organisational skills and enjoy working as part of a team. You’ll also have initiative and the ability to prioritise your workload and have a willingness to learn new areas of work.

You will be joining the Trust at a very exciting time as we prepare to move to a brand new hospital building on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus. The state-of-the-art building is all single room en-suite accommodation for patients and is co-located with Cambridge University Hospital. Construction is well under way and we expect to move in Sep 2018.

This post will be based at New Papworth Hospital on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus.
