  • Medium secure services on the St Bernard’s Hospital site in Ealing
  • Services for people with complex and severe personality disorder at the Cassel Hospital in Richmond
  • High secure services at Broadmoor Hospital in Berkshire

The Vocational Recovery Services of West London NHS operates across 3 pathways, Job Retention, Work Experience and IPS.

We are recruiting to the post of IPS Team Leader in a newly expanding service in West London NHS, covering Recovery and Early Intervention teams. As Team Leader, you are an integral part of the VRS team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the IPS service contracts, helping the staff team to plan and problem solve employment issues with service users working within an IPS fidelity framework. We’ll also rely on you to regularly liaise with colleagues in the Vocational Recovery Services, clinicians in the multi-disciplinary teams and senior managers. You will be actively networking with local employers, Jobcentre Plus and other organisations to help find paid work job opportunities for our clients. You will carry a small caseload of clients.

You must be able to effectively guide and support a team of Employment Specialists to deliver a high fidelity IPS service. You’ll need to be assertive and adaptable, with a positive attitude about employment for all and excellent networking and interpersonal skills. You are an effective time manager who knows how to use IT effectively to support you and your team’s caseload management and reporting. The ability to travel in a timely manner around the whole catchment area is also essential. Training in the IPS framework will be provided, but prior knowledge of this approach would be an advantage
