Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust was formed on Tuesday 1st October 2019, following the merger of 2gether NHS Foundation Trust and Gloucestershire Care Services NHS Trust. The two Trusts joined together to provide integrated mental health, physical health and learning disability services to communities.


Physiotherapy Advanced Practitioner

Band: 7

Salary: £37,570-£43,772 pro rata per annum

Hours: 37.5 Hours per Week - Flexible working may be considered

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapist to join our Musculoskeletal Clinical Assessment and Treatment Service (MSKCAT) as an Advanced Practitioner.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic team-player for this new post within our MSKAPS team. In return we can offer you a unique opportunity to work in a friendly team consisting of AHP Clinical Leads, a GPwSI, Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and Podiatry Advanced Practitioners and Administrative and Clerical staff.

MSKAPS clinicians work within a robust governance framework that includes strong professional links within Gloucestershire Care Services. There is an emphasis on working closely with GP colleagues and building strong links with Secondary Care providers around clinical pathways. A truly multi-disciplinary service, the focus is on appropriate, safe and effective clinical assessment and management of patients with musculoskeletal conditions within Primary Care settings.

For positions Band 8a and above there is a requirement to participate in an on-call rota to ensure a high quality of care for patients at all times and continued support to all staff with access to the right knowledge and expertise.
