The Princess Elizabeth Orthopaedic Centre (PEOC) at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital has an international reputation for clinical excellence and innovation in Orthopaedics. The theatre suite of five elective operating theatres regularly entertains clinical visitors from the UK and overseas. In addition, the theatres participate in a number of high profile international symposia every year.

 

Based in the vibrant, university, cathedral city of Exeter, the Royal Devon & Exeter NHS Foundation Trust serves a local population of 420,000 across Devon with specialist services provided across a wider catchment area.

We are seeking to appoint dynamic dedicated Theatre Nurses and Operating Department Practitioners for scrub and anaesthetic duties. You will plan and manage the implementation of individual care programmes for patients, in the perioperative period, as part of the theatre team. You will provide and deliver a comprehensive service which will include a high quality of patient care.

 

The Princess Elizabeth Orthopaedic Centre operating theatres covers a range of orthopaedic specialities, including hip, knee, spinal, foot & ankle and shoulder, elbow & hand surgery and operates between Monday and Saturday.

 

Applicants should be professional, flexible, highly motivated team members capable of delivering high quality, patient focused care within a busy department.
