We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for to train to become a nursing associate with Wiltshire Health and Care LLP. This is a newly created role, which the organisation is investment in significantly to enable and the role to become an integral part of the healthcare team.

With posts available, in Chippenham and Savernake hospital wards, this is an excellent opportunity to train as you earn, studying for an apprenticeship. There is no upper age limit and we actively encourage applicants of all ages.

You will be expected to attend University in Swindon for a day per week, and although you will be based in 1 service area, you will need to undertake short placements at an alternative location. You will be supported to learn on the job by the healthcare team and a dedicated work based tutor.

We are proud to our staff a career not just a job, so if you successfully complete the 2-year training course, and become registered, you will be offered a permanent job as a nursing associate. Once established in this role, the opportunity for further training to become a registered nurse may also be possible.

Successful candidates will ideally demonstrate some caring experience, and have achieved the Care Certificate as well at Level 2 (or grade C) at GSCE in English and Maths. Training will commence in September/ October this year.
