Barts Health NHS Trust is the second largest provider of cancer care in London and has an international reputation for providing excellent cancer care. Barts Health NHS Trust provides services for the 1.5 million people of North-East London, and specialist services for patients from Essex and across the country.

Based at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital in the City of London, The St. Bartholomew’s Cancer Centre is a major tertiary referral centre for all forms of malignant disease in adults. In conjunction with the Institute of Cancer at Barts and the London, Queen Mary’s School of Medicine and Dentistry our mission is to establish a major international centre of excellence in both cancer research and clinical cancer care on the West Smithfield site at Barts Hospital and in Charterhouse Square. The St. Bartholomew’s Cancer Centre encompasses Medical Oncology, Clinical Oncology & Radiotherapy, Haemato-Oncology, Palliative Care, Breast Surgery and Endocrinology .

We are at the forefront of cancer research, as one of the largest centres for recruitment into Breast clinical trials in the UK. We are continually pushing the boundaries to develop new and successful treatments.

Experience within the speciality is desirable, once appointed we will build upon your specialist course with the support of a mentor and the experienced multidisciplinary team.
