The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is a major Acute Trust providing a comprehensive range of services for the people of Wolverhampton, the wider Black Country, South Staffordshire, North Worcestershire and Shropshire.

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic qualified Clinical Photographer with an exceptional portfolio to join our team of 7 Clinical Photographers, based in Wolverhampton. We provide a comprehensive clinical and non-clinical illustration service at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust, and also the Princess Royal Hospital Telford, The Shrewsbury Hospital and Walsall Health Care where by the successful candidate would be rostered to work on each of these sites when service levels demand.

We provide a wide range of photography and video services to all specialities including (but not limited to) orthodontics, dermatology, diabetic retinal screening and ENT etc as well as 3D imaging. The department is an integrated clinical support department offering a formal, emergency on call service to our clinical users.

You will ideally have a minimum of 6 months post qualification experience in medical photography although consideration will be given to newly qualified candidate, or those of you who are qualifying during 2019. Appropriate training can be provided. You will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to work without supervision and as well as having good organisational skills have the following:
BSC in Medical Illustration or equivalent
AHCS registered
An outstanding, current portfolio
Excellent Photoshop / Aperture and IT skills
Experience with professional page layout software
Excellent communication skills
Full driving licence / own transport desirable
