Data Warehouse Developer - band 5 / band 6 - dependant on experience

If this sounds like you an exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen to continue to redevelop the organisation’s data warehouse system due to the implementation of a new patient administration system.


The post holder will also be responsible for continued development of new reports and dashboards for the organisation and may also be required to work with other organisations/partners as directed.


The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the development of data warehouse systems from data staging right through to the implementation of complex reporting dashboards. Utilising multiple varying data sources from many different systems the post holder will utilise their skills with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to create, maintain and debug ETL packages. Their experience with SQL Server will also allow them to program complicated SQL stored procedures to cleanse and derive data items. SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) will be utilised by the post holder to create complex reporting dashboards to end users exacting requirements aimed at all levels of staff in the organisation.The post holder will understand and use development best practice standards throughout the role and they should have the ability to use version control systems, preferably git.

All positions are subject to the receipt of satisfactory references and medical clearance. Evidence of valid professional registration and appropriate DBS clearances will also be required where relevant. All posts will also be subject to successful completion of a 12 week probationary period.
