These roles involve providing help at home and care for people in the acute and mental health hospital settings

Health Care Assistants Working on Adult Wards in an Acute Hospital Setting Here at Ashford and St Peters our workforce is diverse and we celebrate the differences in us all by listening and respecting our fantastic nursing teams We have excellent career development opportunities offering clear pathways to join Apprenticeship Programmes that can even lead to becoming a Nursing Associate or Registered Nurse. Good communication skills, with a compassionate and caring nature are essential. Specific previous experience isn’t required as full training will be given, which includes attending a ten day Trust Induction Programme. The roles available are within our surgical and medical wards based at St Peter’s Hospital in Chertsey. There you will be supporting the registered nursing teams to provide excellent care to our patients. Our teams will support you in achieving your goals in an environment where you can expect to be a valued member of the ASPH team.

CSH Surrey Community Nursing, Rehab assistant and Health Care Assistants - The post holders would be expected to visit clients in their own home as well as care homes and work closely with the nursing team, family and carers to deliver high quality individualised care Community Hospital, Health Care Assistants - To support and assist the senior team member in the provision of a high standard of care and the promotion of physical, mental and emotional health to individuals and client groups. To be an effective member of the Multidisciplinary Team carrying out assigned tasks involving direct care in the support of the senior team member. Rapid Response and Out of Hours Nursing, Health Care Assistants - Working in our Multi-Professional team the post(s) provide therapy support to the clinicians and provide prescribed rehabilitation packages of care to support patients in their own environment, preventing unnecessary acute hospital admissions and supporting complex discharges from hospital. Although expected to work autonomously the post holder will not be alone, the team is supported by a clinical service manager, Advanced Nurse Practitioners and Team Leader Physio and Occupational therapists. You will also have the support of GP’s, Rapid Response Matrons and nurses

Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust Health Care Assistants – In-Patient Units for Adult Mental Health and Older Adult Mental Health To provide physical and psychological care to service users in accordance with the specified plan of clinical care and provide support to carers. Suitable for someone who is looking for a busy and challenging environment to develop and establish effective working relationships and who has a passion for supporting people to help deliver high quality care.

Surrey County Council Reablement Assistants Work within the community, usually in peoples' homes, to promote independence and choice for people by helping them to work towards their reablement goals as set out in their support plan.

Work closely with carers and others (e.g. Team Leader and Occupational Therapists) and in addition to meeting the person's needs, to try to prevent unnecessary admission to hospital or residential care.

Recruitment - Golden Hello

Successful applicants, who have not worked for CSH within the last 12 months, will receive an amount of £2000 paid in two instalments: - £1000 upon commencement and a further £1000 following successful completion of probation. These payments are pro-rata for part- time posts. Payments will be subject to tax and NI National Insurance in the usual way.We don’t operate Golden Hellos for Band 7 or Band 8 posts, Bank posts or fixed term contracts.
