We are the largest provider of NHS services across the County of Cumbria. In any one year we see around one fifth of the population providing health care services to people in Cumbria, from newborn babies to care of the frail and elderly. Cumbria Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and North Cumbria University Hospitals NHS Trust is at a truly exciting time of transformation with the proposed merger being completed this year.

In addition, North Cumbria NHS partners are working together as a ‘system’ to create the North Cumbria Integrated Health & Care System which will further improve services for our patients and our staff.

So if you want to be part of this exciting transformation, then why not join us?

You will have previous experience of minute-taking, meeting co-ordination, multiple diary management and an appropriate typing qualification or proven experience. An NVQ 3 in Business Administration would be advantageous.

You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to work as a team player, but have the ability to work on your own initiative, and have the ability to remain calm during periods of pressure.

The post is fixed term for a period of up to 12 months initially, with a view to the post becoming permanent following approval and an equitable recruitment process.

So, if you want to be part of the team that is transforming how our healthcare is to be delivered in North Cumbria in the future, and you fancy a challenge, then why not apply for this exciting position.
