The role is Staff Engagement Administrator – however it requires much more than just good admin skills. The person needs to be friendly and approachable as they will be organising and attending staff events. The person must drive and have use of their own car as the there will be lots of travel to other Trust sites. The person also needs to be able to be physically fit, in order to transport our team equipment to different locations, accept large deliveries, lifting heavy equipment and creating numerous goodie bags for events.

They will also be the first point of contact within the team, accepting phone calls – which can sometimes be difficult or upsetting as will be listening to staff problems – need to have a good telephone and email manner and be able to be supportive.

Good organisational skills are essential as will need to keep track of the 4 team members diaries including PA work to the Head of Staff Engagement, supporting where necessary in tasks such as: writing reports, data entry, booking rooms, organising events, etc.
