Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.

The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire and Sefton area. The Trust was first established in 2002 and employs approximately 7,000 staff who provide care from more than 400 sites.


We are offering an exciting opportunity to experienced and enthusiastic clerical staff to support the Early Intervention Service. This post is based at Euxton Lodge, Chorley.

 

The post is 18.75 spread over 5 mornings. The post will require some flexibility over hours due to the needs of the service.

 

Qualifications needed: NVQ level 2, RSA 2 or equivalent, ECDL or equivalent experience.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join a community based, specialist Early Intervention Service and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. This team includes psychological therapists, nurses, support time and recovery workers, social workers and psychiatrists.

 

You must be able to provide efficient administrative support and have excellent IT, keyboard and data inputting skills. You will also require strong interpersonal skills, be able to demonstrate initiative and the ability to organise your workload effectively.

 

The work is varied, interesting and demanding and candidates need to be organised, flexible and reliable. We are looking for people who possess the ability to meet the demands of the service, and also to be able to communicate with a wide range of people, including patients and health care professionals.
