Manchester Health and Care Commissioning is a single commissioner for health and social care, comprising a partnership between Manchester Clinical Commissioning Group and Manchester City Council.

Manchester currently has 89 GP practices, three major hospitals, a mental health trust, citywide social care services, a range of health improvement services, and many voluntary and community organisations.

This is a Greater Manchester Health Care and Partnership post. Manchester CCG or Greater Manchester Combined Authority will host the employment of this post on behalf of the Greater Manchester Health & Social Care Partnership (GMHSCP).

We have a vacancy for a Business Support Officer within the workforce team, which supports the transformation of the health and care workforce across Greater Manchester.

The role will involve providing and coordinating administrative and secretarial services, including: the co-ordination of meetings and workshops with internal and external stakeholders; preparation of papers for meetings; attending meetings and taking minutes; producing action logs and following up; diary management for senior team members.

An experienced administrator and PA with excellent IT and communication skills, you will provide an effective administration service to the team.

Our goal is to see the greatest and fastest improvement to the health, wealth and wellbeing of the 2.8 million people of Greater Manchester and in December 2015 we set out our ambitious plan to transform health and social care over the next five years and beyond. We’re already underway with big changes and improvements to urgent care, mental health, cancer care, population health, primary care, social care and more.
