We are really excited to offer this opportunity to join our team at the Kite Unit; a specialist Inpatient Neuropsychiatric Service operating as part of Solent Neurological Rehabilitation Services, as a Mental Health Nurse.

We will accept applications nurses that hold a registration for the following qualifications RMN, RNLD and RN.

The Kite unit focuses on short term assessment, rehabilitation, neuropsychiatry and disability management to support people after experiencing a brain injury. You will be part of the multidisciplinary team providing high quality, person centred rehabilitation programmes. Supporting patients with complex medical, behavioural, physical and neurological needs by using evidence based patient centred principles that are responsive to individual needs. Some experience of working with people who due to their neurological condition which combined with other health and/or psychiatric need, creates significant difficulties or leads to the presentation of challenging behaviour is desirable but not essential as you will undertake a vigorous induction and training programme. This is a truly rewarding and challenging role.
