Hours: Weekend service Friday to Monday Day/Night shifts available

Are you a passionate children’s or learning disabilities nurse who wants to work weekends only?

Do you have particular part time hour requirements in order to work around your own caring responsibilities? Then keep reading as this might be the role for you….You will have the opportunity to negotiate a range of part time hours to suit your personal requirements.

Bluebell House is a four bedded nurse led children’s respite unit in Greenwichbased at Wensley Close in Eltham. We provide a happy, homely, safe and stimulating environment for children and Young People .The Bluebell team enables children with complex medical health needs to have fun and time away from their family staying with other young people accessing a variety of activities in and out of the borough.

To support our offer of a weekend service we are looking for enthusiastic, caring and motivated staff nurses who want to ensure that our children have the best possible stay always maintaining high quality nursing interventions and ensuring their stay is full of exciting activities that they have chosen to undertake.

Are you looking for a highly supportive team to further develop yourself in? You will be fully supported by the current team to undertake full competency training to meet the needs of all the children who stay at Bluebell.

This post is suitable for both experienced and newly qualified nurses who have a desire to improve outcomes for children and Young people with complex health conditions .Come and join our team and make a difference to children’s lives. There are a range of development and training programs available for Oxleas staff including a preceptorship programme for newly qualified nurses.
