Currently The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (RBCH) includes Royal Bournemouth Hospital, Christchurch Hospital and a Sterile Services Department at Alderney Hospital.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Marketing and PR professional to work as part of our small team at Royal Bournemouth Hospital Charity. This role will be heavily focused on supporting the fundraising team to increase donations and event participation though developing supporter engagement, using a wide range of communication techniques.

Specifically, the post holder’s primary focus will be to support the fundraising team deliver its fundraising plan through the development and management of effective marketing campaigns, the charity’s website, social media presence and ensuring all PR opportunities are maximised.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual who has a sound understanding of a range of digital and marketing and PR techniques, works well in a busy environment and is a team player able to work on own initiative and manage multiple projects independently.

You will have

    • A good understanding of digital platforms and social media
    • Solid copywriting skills
    • Experience of using Adobe InDesign or similar
    • Be a creative thinker with experience in creating engaging content
    • an analytical nature, able to evaluate and monitor the success of marketing campaigns and activities
    • Self–motivated with the ability to manage, multi-task and work on multiple projects at once in a quick-paced environment.
    • knowledge of the latest data protection regulations and standards
    • commitment and enthusiasm for the cause

Bournemouth Hospital Charity raises funds to enhance patient care, treatment and services and support staff welfare and development.
