We are looking to recruit a Patient Services Supervisor in our friendly Community Hospital Restaurant.

Hours of working: 35 hours per week

Week 1: Mon – Fri 6.45am – 2.15pm (1/2 hour unpaid break)

Week 2: Mon, Tue, Wed, Sat & Sun 6.45am – 2.15pm (1/2 hour unpaid break)

There is an enhanced rate of pay for working weekends.

The role will include food preparation, ordering, cash handling, dealing with staff and patients and general cleaning duties.

The successful applicant will be expected to run the catering department in a professional and efficient manner providing high standards at all times in line with Trust Policy & Food Safety Regulations.

The essential qualifications for this post are:

  • Previous catering experience.

  • Intermediate Food Hygiene

  • Level 3 qualification (e.g. NVQ3) in Catering or City & Guilds 706 1 / 2

You will be responsible for a small team ensuring that mandatory training is kept up to date and you will be required to carry out annual appraisals.

Additional hours maybe available covering holidays and absence.

The Trust offers a preceptorship year for newly qualified nurses and AHP's and attendance at preceptorship programmes is a condition of employment.
