Job Reference: 267-BM1717034-A

Employer:
Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust
Department:

Location:
Buckinghamshire CAMHS, High Wycombe
Salary:
£37,570 to £43,772 per annum

Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust has been rated as Good by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

We are a responsive and innovative Foundation Trust that places our values of Caring, Safe and Excellent at the heart of everything we do. We take great pride in our staff and believe that investing in you is key to us achieving our vision of outstanding care delivered by outstanding people.

We work with a wide range of partner organisations to deliver care and support to people in their own homes and from a number of hospitals and community bases. We focus on delivering care as close to home as possible.

Following a successful bid for the recent Greenpapers’ Trailblazers 4 week wait to treatment initiative, we are offering an excellent opportunity to join our CAMHS ‘Getting More Help’ pathway as either a Clinical/ Counselling Psychologist or CBT Therapist, based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.

The CAMHS service model is based on the ‘Thrive model’, and we have partnered with the charity Barnardo’s to ensure a value based collaborative approach to service delivery.

We are working towards offering more support in the community, schools and online. Alongside this we will be building opportunities for early intervention in the wider children’s workforce through training and consultation to ensure that young people are offered early intervention and information to help them.

The role involves working as part of a supportive and lively multidisciplinary team with Children, Young People and their families, experiencing a range of complex Mental Health needs. You will be required to hold a caseload of Young people, whilst undertaking and contributing to the assessment and formulation of care needs in addition to providing evidence based interventions for a range of cases and supervision to other team members. You may also be required to undertake specific cognitive assessments, involving evaluation and interpretation of the information collated.

We are continually developing our internal systems in order that we can provide a service which is timely and responsive to our population, and promotes good outcomes based on evidence based practice. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and motivated to implement change and continue to develop the service.

We are happy to accept newly qualified clinicians awaiting accreditation and will support them in their development. The pay band will reflect this- please contact us for further details.
