**Exciting new opportunity**

Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust is one of only 4 stand-alone Children’s hospitals in the UK and moved into a brand new “Hospital in the Park” in 2015.  We are looking for candidates with vision and motivation to join our dynamic department.  The Aseptic Services unit at Alder Hey is housed in a state of the art facility within the pharmacy department. The unit comprises VHP technology, automated compounding and gene therapy facilities and delivers a medicines portfolio across parenteral nutrition, small injectables (CIVAS), chemotherapy and investigational medicinal products.    After major investment by the trust we are developing our senior management and production teams within the aseptic services unit and are looking to recruit a second Specialist Pharmacist Aseptic Services.  This new post will be fundamental in supporting delivery of the trust objectives around utilisation of the unit and progression to MHRA licensing. We wish to recruit a highly motivated individual to work both within the senior management team and support the day to day operation of the unit. Experience of paediatrics and aseptic services is preferable but full training will be given on commencement in post. If you have the necessary experience and skills and feel you would like to work with us as part of our growing Pharmacy Team then we would welcome your application. The post is full time (37.5hrs per week) and the successful candidate will be required to work flexibly and support our technical weekend and bank holiday rotas and the department oncall rota.
