North East London Foundation Trust Speciality Doctor in Children and Adolescent MH Service (Brookside unit)- 10PAs A vacancy has arisen following a Speciality Doctor moving from our Tier 4 CAHMS service within our Acute and Rehabilitation Directorate. NELFT operates a nationally recognised model of minimising bed usage through close collaboration between the Home treatment Team and acute wards. The post is based at the Brookside Unit, Barley Lane, Goodmayes with a HTT providing care to other NELFT boroughs.

We are looking for enthusiastic and flexible candidates who demonstrate leadership abilities and are committed to working in a multidisciplinary setting. Applicants should have adequate experience in CAMHS with over 2 years’ experience in Psychiatry. This post will attract 10 Programmed Activities per week – 8 PAs for direct clinical care and up to 2 PAs for supporting professional activity subject to review with the line manager. The post offers excellent CPD and study leave arrangements as well as good research and service development opportunities.
