A unique opportunity has arisen to work in Newham Talking Therapies and Tower Hamlets Talking Therapies. These are exceptional talking therapies services with a range of fantastic development opportunities. We are committed to the progression of our team members and our posts are formulated to allow for development of clinical expertise in chosen clinical areas.


We are looking for a Registered Practitioner with a Mental Health background; RMN or other equivalent Core /Allied Health profession (e.g. RNLD OT or Social Worker with extensive secondary care mental health experience) with at least 2 year post qualification experience.
We encourage a positive working environment with emphasis on managing self-care. As a training centre, we offer strong team support.


The post-holder will be part of a dynamic team, having responsibility for the development and maintenance of the interface between our service and our partners in care.


The post holder will work within the Single Point of Referral Team, and play a key role in screening new referrals coming into the service. They will also manage a small team ensuring that our referrals are screened and processed in a timely manner, making sure that any new cases requiring immediate input are dealt with accordingly. There are also opportunities to facilitate wellbeing workshops and have a small caseload of clients utilising computerised CBT.

Due to the diverse populations in Newham and Tower Hamlets, this is a unique opportunity to work with clients from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds.


The post is offered as a permanent full-time role, with the expectation that the post holder will work occasional evenings (12pm until 8pm).
