We’re looking to recruit a System Support Engineer to join our Staff Bank and provide support to our Information Technology (IT) Department. We are looking for experienced Desktop Support Engineers, who can demonstrate their experience and achievements within this field and are available to take on temporary assignments. Regardless of experience you’ll need to be a team player with bags of drive and enthusiasm; someone who understands the value of providing outstanding customer service and is able to effectively balance the need for improved Desktop Services with the operational needs of a large, busy hospital.


Working via our Staff Bank, you will take on temporary assignments working on short to medium term projects. Working flexibly via our staff bank can be a challenging and rewarding way to work and will give you a great insight into working within the NHS and the career opportunities we have to offer.

We are seeking proactive and dedicated individuals with the following knowledge and experience:

    • A high level of IT Literacy with Microsoft products - specifically Windows 7, Windows 10, SCCM, MS Office, O365 and Active Directory.
    • The ability to troubleshoot PC, Operating System and application related problems through to resolution.
    • Knowledge of Support Packages including Service Management tools (Supportworks) and Remote Access tools such as VNC or RDP.
    • Experienced gained from within and ITIL environment would also be advantageous.
