Community Physiotherapy Assistant

Band: 3

Salary: £18,813 - £20,795

Hours: 37.5 hrs per week (Part time hours and flexible working patterns considered)

Location: Gloucester

We are looking for a motivated and resourceful individual with excellent communication skills to join one of our Integrated Community Teams as a Physiotherapy Assistant. If you are a person who is enthusiastic, able to work on your own and as a team player then this is the role for you.

The Physiotherapy Assistants work alongside Physiotherapists within an Integrated Community Team to promote health and wellbeing in community populations. The aim is to enable service users to reach their optimum level of function and independence by gathering information and assessing prior to providing information, delivering exercise based programs and restorative rehabilitation plans.

It is a highly rewarding role, maximising service users’ independence. We offer excellent opportunities for on-going development and training, together with formal and informal support and learning from colleagues in the team. You will be supported by a qualified Physiotherapist.

This vacancy is subject to an Enhanced disclosure with barring list check for Adults. Successful candidates are expected to undertake a DBS check at their own cost and sign up to the DBS update service. Ability to travel within the county is essential within this role.
