We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic Band 6 Registered Nurses with 3 years’ wound care experience and a current NMC registration. The successful candidate will be the Clinical Lead and will be required to provide clinical and operational leadership in three newly established Simple Wound Care Clinics that will cover Barking and Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge.

 

The Simple Wound Care Clinic will be nurse led and managed by a Band 6 Clinical Lead, and staffed by Band 5 nurses, Band 3 Health Care Support Workers and Band 3 administrators.

 

The clinics will operate from 08.00 to 20.00 hours Monday to Friday and 08.00 to 17.00 hours on weekends and bank holidays (except Christmas day and Easter Sunday). Flexible working is also available

 

Essential criteria for this post:

 

    1. Registered General Nurse with a valid NMC pin number.

 

    1. 3 year experience post registration.

 

    1. At least 3 year experience of wound care management

 

    1. Post registration course in wound management or willing to under the course.

 

    1. Full UK Driving License and access to a car for work purposes

 

    1. Non-Medical /community prescriber
