TRUST APPOINTED SENIOR CLINICAL FELLOWS IN EMERGENCY MEDICINE
Nodal Point 4 - 47,132 p. a excl. LZ
Full-time - 40 hours per week and/or flexible hours
Fixed-term 6 Months with the possibility of extension.

We are looking for clinicians with significant EM experience who can support the clinical work of the department at a senior level. These posts will also give you non shop floor time. You will have the equivalent of 2 days a fortnight to follow the special interest. Because of the seniority of the role we are looking for someone with their intermediate FRCEM/ MRCEM. We are open to negotiation for someone with a specific career plan such as aiming for CESR registration. Atypical, flexible or individualised rotas are possible as long as you make a significant contribution to weekends and Out of Hours work.

The EM team is friendly, hard working and very supportive. The department was rated as Outstanding by the CQC in March 2016. Each post is for 6 months or 1 year, with the possibility of extension for suitable individuals.

The post holders will participate in a middle tier of doctors-at a grade suitable for your past experience. You will have a chance to learn and gain experience in a safe but busy environment. The Emergency Department is led by 20 Adult and 4 Paediatric Emergency Consultants. The physical environment is new and shiny, with our departmental rebuild having recently been completed. The Department sees over 145,000 new patients per annum, has a 16 bed Clinical Decision Unit and a separate Paediatric Emergency Department. We have a highly diverse patient population who will challenge and enhance your clinical skills. We are near many major cultural attractions and receive patients from many central London events, such as the London Marathon.
