This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and forward thinking individual to lead the multi-professional Community Mental Health Team in Brent. The service consists of a Community Mental Health Team, Memory Service and a developing Home Treatment Team.

You will be educated to at least degree level in health or social care (nursing, AHP, Social Work) with a minimum of 3 years experience of working at a clinical management level in Mental Health Services.

You will provide senior managerial and clinical leadership support to band 7-band 3 staff, to enable the delivery of key challenges and support the Service Manager in delivering service improvements and developments. You will receive support and supervision from the Older Adult & Healthy Service Manager.

You will help drive the strategic and operational agenda and deliver our quality and financial strategies working closely with the team Consultants and Borough partners.

We are looking for an experienced, focused individual, who is highly motivated with excellent communication and managerial skills. Community Services are becoming fast paced and rapidly changing to support the ‘Out of Hospital Care’ strategies and 10 year forward plan. You will need to demonstrate resilience in the ability to adapt to the changing landscape and opportunities for service development.

You will ensure resources are maximised and that we meet national and local priorities.

A key element of this role is to ensure that service users and carers receive an excellent service/experience.

The service is based at Fairfield House, Kingsbury, NW9 0PS and is easily accessible by tube (Kingsbury Station) and local bus routes.
